Ed.
Joss has taken to calling the name "Ed" when he is distressed, or uncomfortable, or awaiting his food. I wonder who this Ed is? Perhaps a waiter? It is a mystery....
Things are going well here in the land of Port Moody. Since last we spoke, Jennifer has landed a role in the Vancouver Opera production of the Scottish Play (Do they have the same superstition in Opera that they have in regular theater?--another mystery...) We are also hoping that Fer's Permanent Residence status gets straightened out soon, so that we can get truly settled. And of course I am still looking for employment. There are some possibilities, but I won't talk about those until there is something worthwhile to mention.
Joss has had a lingering cold for a while. He's pretty congested, so we might take him to see a doctor tomorrow just to be on the safe side...
Crazy morning, as they are cleaning out the parking garage in the basement, and have provided us with alternative parking in the garage across the street. Stupid me locked the gate key in the vehicle, so when we got up this morning, I realized there was no way to get into the garage without it. Had to knock on the neighbors door at 6AM. Ugh. They were very nice about it, as they had done the same thing themselves the night before. "That's what neighbors are for...", she says. Nice folks.
Well, back to the search...
