"Everything is a sequence..."
I have my headphones on right now listening to the podcast interview (go ahead, have a listen), with Alec Longstreth (who I previously mentioned helped me last weekend with organizing the contents of my website--thanks again Alec!) I have to pause right now and recommend you guys check out his mini-comic Phase 7, on his website. I bet he would even ship to Canada if you asked him nicely. You can read his work online too. Alec is one of the most prolific and positively charged dudes I have ever met. He's a talented cartoonist, and he LOVES comics. His blogs about keeping a schedule on Make Comics Forever, tell you just how committed he is to being a cartoonist. His enthusiasm is very infectious. Even if you aren't in to comics (you're crazy if you're not), I think you'd get a lot out of his stories. It is really something, how comics as a medium have made leaps and bounds in terms of artistic merit. Guys like Alec help make that happen.
Last night Joss got his shots at the Pediatrican. Given everything he's gone through recently, it wasn't that traumatic. He got a little upset but was calm pretty quickly. Fer spent the day yesterday with Joss making a video for me about how they spend their day together. That was really cool of her to do. I'll have some responsibilities that's for sure...
Our newly engaged friend TS came over for a visit last night and had some food with us. We roped her in to watching baby videos til late.
I've gotten a lot of positive response from my website. Thanks! I'm still working on fixing a few of the most blatant problems, but I pretty much have resolved that its going to be an ongoing project.
